CTB Competition Topics

Applied Mathematics

Main research areas: Applied mathematics involves applying mathematics to problems in different fields, such as science, engineering or other different fields. We emphasize both mathematics, the challenge of developing new methods to solve new problems, and real-world emphasis. These problems arise from a variety of applications such as physical and biological sciences, engineering, and social sciences. Their solution requires knowledge of various branches of mathematics, such as analysis, differential equations and stochastics, as well as analytical and numerical methods.
