Project Description

This project aims to explore various aspects of China's foreign trade and investment, including the destinations of Chinese foreign investments, the characteristics of recipient countries, and the impacts of these investments on the host countries. Additionally, the project will examine whether foreign investments increase bilateral trade volumes. A special focus will be on the relationship between China's foreign trade and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), evaluating and explaining the BRI's impact on economic entities.
